Timothy Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez

Hard fight to call but if Bradley resist the urge to trade and boxes instead then he wins this.
Norwood and John handed defeats to Marquez a while ago but he has got considerably more powerful since his got this dodgy conditioner so I can see his power causing Timn problems if he is quick enough to catch him. Floyd completely dominated JMM soTim just needs to apply the same strategy of movement with plenty of jabs I see Marquez being outspeeded and outboxed.

Rooting for marquez. It's a contrast in style for marquez since bradley can fight backwards and has good movement, but I believe marquez can time bradley coming in. And bradley should never think he can fight marquez the way he fought provodnikov. He should fight like he did against pacquiao, mediocre but constant work rate.
I first thought bradley can do a far superior juan diaz style against marquez a year ago, but things changed after the pac-marquez IV and bradley-provodnikov.
If it's an outside game, i don't think bradley can do better against marquez, since he has little power, marquez knows how to cut the ring, and throw feints all over the place.
On the inside. Marquez has face superior offense in pacquiao than bradley can ever offer. Marquez has this.
If they have the same power I would have root for bradley.

Bradley is not a smart fighter
Marquez would be reliant on Tim making a mistake so he can catch him with huge counters. If Tim plays it safety first he gives Marquez no opporunities and Tim wins a landslide like Floyd did vs Marquez. Depends how many risks Timmy wants to take.Last edited by G22; 04-19-2013, 09:11 AM.

Great respect for Marquez, he's fighting a younger, less famous guy for less money than he would have done by fighting Pac a fifth time.
That said, Bradley by decision. I don't see how Bradley's style is tailor made for JMM. He's a jab and move kind of fighter, who only trades in short spurts 90% of the times.
Marquez is extremely clever and a tough opponent even at his age. A fighter tailor made for his style though would be Rios, to a slightly lesser extent Alvarado, not Bradley.
