  • Comments Thread For: Video: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Interview - Over 30 Minutes

Rick Reeno, Luis Sandoval and a few select reporters sat down with WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. for more than 30 minutes to discuss a number of topics in his career - from the fight with Guerrero, to his Showtime deal, leaving HBO, working with his father again, TMT Promotions, facing Robert Guerrero and more. Only questions need to be asked...

-when are you going to fight Manny Pacquiao

"Um well, he lost against Bradley and got KTFO by Marquez so be has to deal with those problems first, I tried to make the fight all I asked for was a simple blood test"

-so in other words NEVER considering he agreed to your blood test before he recieved those two losses. Wouldn't you want to fight him now that he's is vulnerable and slowing down? He does produce a good amount of revenue if the fight were to happen, and isn't your concept in life gettin MONEY

"Look I'm my own boss, Pacmeow answers to Bob Arum, Bob Arum controls Pacmeow. I call my own shots"

Who would actually sit through a 30 minute long Floyd interview? Same old, same old. Starts off calm, then when the interviewer asks him anything remotely tough, he gets defensive, and goes Diva mode.

if posters say floyd can't fight any ww's that have won their last 2 fights, how would they cosign him fighting a guy who lost (but won) and then got KTFO by a 40 yr old jww moving up?

Only 2 WW's worth fighting, and that's Pac/JMM. Either that, or fight Canelo/Trout winner. End of story.

I'd still like to see him fight Pac, though it'll be a slight cherry pick at this point. Canelo/Trout are way bigger than floyd, but would be interesting to see the challenge. JMM does not belong in the same ring as floyd please people....stop mentioning him.
