Dude u know nothing about the justice system in Mexico. U can be sh it faced drunk off ur az and just fork over $200 and they will let u go. The authorities are just posturing cause they know that golden boy will fork over big $ to make this go away . Trust me

most probably, in mexico you can kill a guy by rolling over him with your car and it cost you only 50,000 pesos, roughly $4000 dlls.. provided it was unintentional..

assault with wounds prolly would cost you around $50,000 dls... what I think is because this is a high profile guy and it was widely cover in the Mexican media the authorities have no choice but pursue the charges, my bet is his will die when canelo pays archie some $200-300k.. I would be surprised if he lands in jail...

I think this could be bad though. Imagine you're one week away from a huge fight against a really good opponent and you find out you're about to go to jail.Boxing is very psychological and not every fighter can fight through personal issues.
