That's the reason right there. The promoter feud. Broner will probably be the winner and he is one of Golden Boy's biggest stars and Pacquiao is still Top Rank's biggest star so this fight has no chance of happening.

Team Haymon and Schaefer are not exactly friends with Floyd because they love the guy to death. They would throw Floyd under the bus if it would translate into money in their pockets. Of course, they would try to entice Floyd to take Broner. Exactly the reason why they made this Maliggnagi/Broner fight.

Recall that Floyd once tried to leave Haymon and GBP and made friends with Don King. Then he tried to manipulate 50 cent into doing the dirty work for him, but he pu55ied out.

I think manny would probably beat broner right now but broner wouldn't shy away from the fight. It veryy well could be the vargas/odh vargas/tito thing-too young for the top level but not afraid to go for the big fish.
