The best current ''styles make fights'' fights?

What are the best style matchups at the moment in boxing?

Let's forget triangle theories for a second. Let's forgot who lost to who and who has beaten who.

What are the best style matchups possible right now? Possible upsets because a higher ranked boxer would struggle with a lesser ranked boxers style?

Case in point being Donaire-Rigo. This aint another Donaire-Rigo thread so i hope the mods dont delete this. Just using that as an example.

To their credit, quite a few posters on here called the Rigo win based on styles making fights. Donaire was one of highest ranked P4P fighters in the sport and Rigo was a 11 fight pro. Quite a few on here called the Rigo win because they could see Rigo's style and skill being too much for Donaire.

What are the other current ''styles make fights'' fights you think out there?

He's shifted divisions now but I think Broner is a far better fighter than Miguel Vasquez, but i think Vasquez's constant movement gives Broner all kinds of problems. Maybe Broner just hasnt had to show himself cutting the ring off yet? But if he brought that wide power stance to fight with a runner like Vasquez he could end up looking pretty bad.

Thurman vs any counter puncher would be a sweet matchup. Thurmans strength is coming forward while counter punchers love counter punching.

A faster and more skilled counter puncher will always beat the counter puncher who is a second slower, case in point, Donaire-Rigondeaux.

Mayweather-Marquez is another one. Mares-Moreno, because Mares all out, cut off the ring, don't let the "boxer" breathe, throw a million punches, and you can beat a boxer like Moreno.

We'll find out some of this by Saturday but I think:

Trout is gonna give canelo lots of problems with his height/boxing ability and he'll have the right combination of height/skills to expose canelo

But i don't think that trout beats mayweather. It would be a good fight and his huge height advantage coupled with skill would bother Floyd, but Floyd is just a bit better and smarter than trout at everything so I'd favor mayweather in a close one

But if canelo and mayweather fight I like canelos chances. He'd be the much bigger man and he would pressure and make a dogfight out of it. Floyd will be able to counter and cover up a lot but in the end I think canelo is just too big and strong and Floyd is too small and isn't getting any younger
