Why would GB offer $3Mil for Rigo. Rigo is a very good boxer but he is unknown and his style is boring to the casual fans. If GB were to offer money for Rigo's services it would be a lot less than $3Mil. Lets be realistic here.

GBP does have their faults, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they are as bad as Arum. At least Schaefer seems open to negotiating certain fights with TR. Arum just says hell no we won't work with them. That's pretty juvenile and disappointing for an 80 yr old fart who's been in the game for so long.

As far as putting together fights, I think Arum doesn't have much choice but to pit his best fighters together because he doesn't have as many as GBP. Perfect example, Rios and Alvarado. Who else were they gonna fight at 140? everyone else is with GBP. Same with Donaire, there was no one else except Rigondeaux. Boxingwise it would have been better for Nonito's career to fight mares, at least he might have won that fight.

Donaire got paid $1,320,000, the $3,000,000 was for the entire Top Rank side and even Delahoya said the promoters get half that if not more so Donaire practically got paid the same.

That's far from true. Top Rank would have got around 500k-1 million AT MOST. So Donaire would have walked away with at least 2.5-2 million.
