Well said. He intended to punch Price in the head and succeeded.

Exactly. Tell that to the Pacquiao nut huggers.

        Works pretty well for Wladimir.

But the notion that it was a lucky punch, is daft.
It wasn't even a particularly good punch, that is probably the most worrying thing about it.

I'll give him the time of day, and hopefully he wins the rematch.
In the future though, punchers will know they only need to hit him once or twice, and down he goes. So it will be interesting.

Wlad gassed in two fights and one of them was even a corner stoppage. He obviously was not gassed in the Sanders fight. But Corrie wasn't exactly a feather fisted fighter now was he. So in my opinion Wlad's supposed glass jaw is little more than an urban myth.

The shot that put him down was not some crushing blow. Price's chin looks like it can't take much of a shot at all. I expect a repeat in the rematch. Thompson by KO inside 4 rounds.

I agree with Chisora, he was caught with a lucky punch.

Price will probably win the rematch with Thompson.

Wouldn't be surprised if Thompson took a dive in the rematch.

You're right, too much is made of Wladimir's 'glass' chin.

Its pretty dire; but it doesn't matter, because he's effected a means of protecting it.

I didn't read too much into Thompson's KO shot as it landed on Price's ear and perforated the drum. Not to say Price doesn't have a weak chin, as he does, just not as bad as people think kinda like Khan.

                      WHAT?!

Price was dropped multiple times as an amateur. There's even talk that he's been floored in sparring.

At least Khan has speed on his side, and an decent jab (which is underused).

Price was asking for it, though. Poor match-making on Maloney's part (from fighting bums to a 'decent' HW), and an unwillingness by Price to work on his footwork, guard and timing. For some reason he carries his left hand low, knowing full well that his chin is made of paper mache
