But the notion that it was a lucky punch, is daft.
It wasn't even a particularly good punch, that is probably the most worrying thing about it.
I'll give him the time of day, and hopefully he wins the rematch.
In the future though, punchers will know they only need to hit him once or twice, and down he goes. So it will be interesting.Comment

Works pretty well for Wladimir.

The shot that put him down was not some crushing blow. Price's chin looks like it can't take much of a shot at all. I expect a repeat in the rematch. Thompson by KO inside 4 rounds.Comment

I agree with Chisora, he was caught with a lucky punch.
Price will probably win the rematch with Thompson.Comment

Its pretty dire; but it doesn't matter, because he's effected a means of protecting it.Comment

Price was dropped multiple times as an amateur. There's even talk that he's been floored in sparring.
At least Khan has speed on his side, and an decent jab (which is underused).
Price was asking for it, though. Poor match-making on Maloney's part (from fighting bums to a 'decent' HW), and an unwillingness by Price to work on his footwork, guard and timing. For some reason he carries his left hand low, knowing full well that his chin is made of paper macheLast edited by yoz; 04-17-2013, 01:27 PM.Comment
