Lol..these folks know exactly what they are doing. You can see the evidence of them working people up all across this site. People are so used to Mayweather being the one doing the clowning they seem to have lost their place in existence lol. Listen these guys are doing a great job at keeping folks talking about them. You cannot seriously get mad at them for it if you were fine the nine hundred times floyd has done it to his opponents. Hell he even did it to Cotto and swore up and down he would just play it serious because Cotto wasn't that kinda opponent.

But that says more about the person doing the mocking, than what they are trying to mock.
        Very true.

But if they didn't do nonsense like this, what would the Guerrero Camp have to offer?

Not everyone has some gut-wrenching story or personality that can sell tickets.

Next they will have a doll made up that looks like Floyd and beat it up during an interview.

Some people actually eat that kind of stuff up.

Ryan Burton catches up with Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (31-1-1, 18KOs), who shows a few moves at his Las Vegas media day. Guerrero challenges WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs) on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. During the media day, Guerrero's father and trainer, Ruben Guerrero, mocked the infamous Mayweather padwork routine that is often seen between Floyd and his uncle/trainer Roger Mayweather.

          EPIC...

Good ass post I had a tape of Sweet P and his trainer doing mit work and it was like watching a jazz band how queue they were on lol See these dudes dnt get that boxing is rhythmatic the mits works on timing reflexes and anticipation. Guerrero is a one demensional fighter so he has no idea of that type of training.

Those getting their pantyhose in a twist over Team Guerrero mocking Mayweather need to relax, have a coke and a smile. Mayweather's been doing it for years and people leap to his defence, stating that he just promoting the fight. Well let the Guerreros do the same as the less fear they show, the less excuses they have if they lose. It's better than there being no hype at all. Hatton's antics got all his fans jacked up for the fight so even though he got starched, he got paid and it made fo a better build up.

The pinata, the pad mocking...... keep it going, I say.

People mock the routine because it's not a routine of power punching. To them it means nothing. To them it's not how you'd "really" fight in the ring.

Unfortunately for those who mock it, don't realize that it's another form of cardio and muscle memory. It's sharpness. It's keeping in shape. Keeping in motion. It's not about punching the mitts hard all of the time. If you put on a pair of gloves and patty cake someone's mitts, you'll notice your shoulders begin to drop from muscle fatigue. I think Floyd has less problems with arm, shoulder muscle and cardio fatigue than most fighters because of dedication to simple cardio routines like this.

With Floyd's record, something about it must be working huh? I hope for Team Ghost, this was just promotion and that they really realize the fighter in front of them.

While I meant that in relation to this thread, that was more a general statement that I felt some people should read based on some of the garbage I was reading last night here.

It was pretty funny, and it was good clean promotion. I am certainly not mad at them for doing their part in promoting the fight.

It's just one team trying to belittle the other. Nothing new in boxing. It puts butts in seats and adds a little more intrigue to a big fight for the casuals.
