85% of 700,000 is around the same (595,000) as 50% of 1,100,000 (550,000). A JMM-Pac fight will be much bigger (more than 1.1 mil) than any other fight (a Bradley rematch would do less than 700,000) so 50% of a JMM PPV would make more than 85% of a Bradley PPV.

first of all you just said pac v jmm 4 was 400k more than pac vs braldey which is true but pac vs jmm 4 was 1.4k buys meaning your figure with pac vs braldey is off by 300 k ...

the poll is correct in saying that if you are a manny fan he should get more... period. There aren't very many "fans of just boxing" in here. There is a difference in who is the draw and who is fighting to get their name back. Personally, I see no need for a 5th fight, as I don't care to see manny take anymore punches. Retire while you can, hopefully without brain damage.

youre right the 1. 4 being the 3rd fight ... it is very relevent when your using the TOTAL ppv sales.. coz thats not the money that pac and jmm would be splitting , only a portion of that...

If Marquez is asking for 50-50 then that is extremely reasonable. He beat the guy almost 4x and almost killed him in 6 rounds in their last fight. They are lucky Marquez is not asking for what he really deserves which is 55-45 or 60-40. Marquez no longer needs Pacquiao, he outboxed him a couple fights and knocked him out in a war. In 2004-2008 they showed they were pretty evenly matched, but in 2011-2012 Marquez showed he's the man of the two.

Marquez has Bradley and Alvarado would would be really good fights, especially Alvarado. Pacquiao is being lined up to fight a pack of losers probably.
