This reminds me of when Lonnie Smith was sparring Jorge Linares. When he first sparred Linares, rumors was that Smith got knocked out. Then Eddie Mustafa Muhammad told him to adjust and not to be in awe of his speed then as was told Smith knocked out Linares. This is before Linares got knocked out by Salgado.

If its even true, which I doubt, I bet the knock out consisted of him getting dropped and then they just stopped for the day. Because they stopped, whoever said it thought "dude! Broner just got stopped!"

They nearly always stop if someone gets dropped, no matter how unhurt or brief it was. I seriously, seriously doubt a guy of Broners caliber is getting KTFO in sparring. Its incredibly rare. Miranda against a drained to **** Dawson is sort of understandable, but even then, he didn't get knocked out. He got dropped and they finished the session. That's all.

Anyway, I never take any of this **** seriously.

Did you actually think I was comparing him to ATGs? Well, I wasn't.

It's rare for any world class fighter to get knocked out in sparring. Very rare. I could understand a flash knock down, or, if they have shown to be easy to hit and a vulnerable chin, then a hard knock down is possible, but still very rare. It just doesn't happen very often. Broner has shown neither so far.

Broner is world class. That's all I meant. He's shown himself to have a decent chin and ok defense. We're not fully sure of his chin yet, but its been good so far as has his defense.

I could understand a knock down. It does happen here and there. I struggle to believe he got KOd cold. In fact I don't even slightly believe it. Between two world class proven guys, its really ****ing hard to actually knock someone out.

Those two things happened tho. It was confirmed by multiple ppl and sources. Lonnie smith got knocked out and in revenge he knocked out Linares who proceeded to go get knocked out by Salgado.
