I certainly hope not. If people say that Rigondeaux is boring (I don't think he's boring but I do understand why some people may believe that) then they're going to fall asleep (again) watching Alexander.

IMO Alexander is the most boring active boxer.

Depends on who Alexander fights next. I really wanted him to expose Brook but hey Brook was lucky. As for Alexander fighting Mayweather I think it will be a good fight.I regard Alexander highly, he's fast, intelligent has some decent power and is slick. To me boxing is not 2 guys standing toe to toe and getting damaged. I respect guys who use the ring, guys who move, who anticipate what their opponents are about to do,guys who see shots coming and either block or evade shots.Alexander happens to be one of he guys I really enjoy seeing in action along Crawford,Mayweather,Dirrell,Ward,Hopkins etc. If Alexander fights Mayweather that's a good fight just like Mayweather -Marquez was a boxing show case.It will show 2 guys displaying their skills and I would love that.

lol at comparing Alexander to Mayweather, Dirrell, Hopkins etc.

Alexander was going to get exposed against Brook. Same as he was against Mathysse, Kotelnik and Bradley.

Floyd Mayweather " we are not fighting to prove who is the best"

Didn't he also say something along the lines of having 5 or 6 fights and not facing prime champions during those next fights?

Sure sounds like Devon would make the short list based on that criteria as a sure fire Mayweather opponent

I did not say he's in the same league but he fights and moves. He's slick. To be honest I do not see how Brook would have done anything to Alexander. Brook's just so slow and overrated, he doesn't belong to this level. Matthyse was a tough fight but those kind of fights have prepared Alexander, he improved from those fights and I personally believe Alexander can handle Matthyse with ease just boxing smart.

I don't understand how you can say Kell is slow and overrated and say Alexander is slick in the same sentence. He's anything but slick. And he's not particularly faster than Brook.

Brook is the bigger man, a true WW, undefeated and with a good KO %. Alexander hasn't shown power since Durango. I just can't see Alexander beating Brook by any way other than robbery.

When has Alexander ever outboxed a boxer? I just don't see it happening.
