What are the most biased CITIES in boxing?

I completely agree about Liverpool. Only person who would disagree is a scouser. [See post #2]In the UK it has to be Liverpool.
They hype their fighters up all the time but never really have any decent fighters.
What about other countries?
In America from what I can see it has to be Philadelphia
All the posters on here from Philly only ever post in threads about fighters from Philly, and how awesome they are. If it doesn't involve Philly they aren't interested.
They hyped Price up MASSIVELY and go on about Bellew as if he could do something too where as he will never surpass European level. Same goes for Paul Smith
As for America I would say if is probably Philly. People act like you're a better fighter for just being born there as if there is something in the waterComment

You talk as if Price was hyped up by scousers only. Forgetting when he was on Sky, they often mentioned him as a possible opponent for Wlad. Even he did.I completely agree about Liverpool. Only person who would disagree is a scouser. [See post #2]

What are you going to say when Fury gets KOd? The Irish hyped him up? Or the mancs?
Price fought in the olypmics and got a medal - and he KO'd everyone he met. He deserved some of the hype - but rightly so, it has calmed down now.
With regards to Bellew, I think most scousers support him, and he has only lost a very close decision to a world champion. He's ranked in the top ten - so I don't really see what the problem is?
Is he going to be a dominating world champ? No. Will he be a legitimate contender and win a version of the title at some stage in his career? Probably.Comment

yeah but the thing is since Shaun got banned i'm the ONLY person on this site that hypes Fury lol.You talk as if Price was hyped up by scousers only. Forgetting when he was on Sky, they often mentioned him as a possible opponent for Wlad. Even he did.

Haha, he got banned? What for? I thought he just joined a couple of weeks ago.
Well, what are you going to say if he gets stopped one time? Of course it depends against who, but imo Price was hyped by everyone, not just Liverpool.Comment

thats down to his promoter... and what? having some fans means he's hyped up to death..?Well David Price was ridiculously hyped up, coming our to "you'll never walk alone " to a red ring with a military band, when all he was fighting was domestic has-beens, and all the talk about liverpools first heavyweight champ, it was pretty bad, I've not seen anything so absurd for a long time.
Tony bellew is another one who has a huge fanbase solely because he's from Liverpool.
What about the Smith brothers?
I personally saw his defensive flaws against Mcdermott.. he hurt Mcdermott and bombarded him with lots of missed punches and his chin high in the air.. something he wouldn't get away with against an elite fighter..I knew from that point on he was getting ko'd soon
Not to mention the lack of defence he showed against Skelton right from the start but I know why its annoying people hyping him because I tried explaining all this to my dad and he was taking none of it saying price would KO Mike Tyson in his prime
Price really hyped himself up with his high ko percentage and its the casual boxing fans that only want to see a KO that tend to follow these guys... just like wilder
Tyson Fury on the other hand although I dislike him is the guy I'd give a chance against Wladimir because he's at least going to try (although I think he's bee too brave and get Ko'd due to getting countered)Comment
