They are not being fair to Pulev. So the IBF said that Pulev would lose his status if he took another fight after Adamek dropped out because he had to now fight the winner of Fury/Cunningham. Now Fury is saying he's going the WBC route. Thanks for ***ing over Kubrat once again IBF, worthless ***s. Name Pulev mandatory and be done with it.
The IBF should have just declared Pulev mandatory when Adamek pulled out, like they declared Thompson mandatory when Chambers pulled out.Comment

Povetkin must be considered #1 contender. Pulev is #2. Tyson #3. That's how it goes imo.
So Tyson - Pulev is a eliminator for top spot for IBF. If povetkin continues to duck, the winner takes on Wlad.Comment

Yeah I can't see Povetkin stepping up.
He's had that "title" almost 2 years now and is having another defence next month against an as yet unnamed opponent, so it'll be another scrub at this late stage.Comment

Me neither. Why should he? He can milk that title and make some decent money. Everybody knows he'll get squashed as soon as he fights Wlad.
Apparently, Wawrzyk is fighting Povetkin now. He wants glory (fake belt) over money (Haye).
Interesting to see whether he'll be criticized as much as Haye, or if it's just another "stay-busy" fight.Comment

This. Absolutely ridiculous.
Pulev should of been the IBF mandatory when Adamek pulled out, just like how Thomspon became the mandatory when Chambers pulled out of their eliminator. Same situation and if I'm not mistaken same sanctioning body.
