My post from another thread:
Matthysse's recent performances have him wearing a cloak of invincibility for NSB posters, but I'll cut through the **** goggles that is NSB group thinking. I see Lamont making Lucas uncomfortable in the fight. Even if he's not able to press Matthysse as he's done in the past, Lucas is going to respect his space because he'll be able to defend well and counter with enough power to demand that respect. I see the fight going the distance and the issue for the judges will be if they preferred Peterson's clean punching and defense or Matthysse's slight advantage of activity and considerable difference in power (though most landing on arms, gloves, and air).
Matthysse is a good fighter, but if NSB wants to continue to disregard how good L Peterson is, they'll end up being proven wrong. Close to 4-1 odds is excellent for a fight that will depend on what the judges prefer (and a shared promoter so the possibilty of corruption is reduced to).
