I am sure lots of people think Trout will school him. I think Trout is a very good fighter and much better than anyone Canelo has ever fought so it's possible he could outbox Canelo. I have faith in Canelo. I think Canelo will win most or all of the rounds and KO Trout in 9 rounds or less. This is Canelo's coming out party against a highly respected, big, young, undefeated world champion.

Rigo made a believer out of me. I am now a huge Rigo fan and I will be rooting for him in all his future fights. If Trout beats Canelo I will be sad for Canelo but happy for Trout. I am already a Trout fan but Canelo is my favorite young fighter. I don't think Rigo's upset win is a bad omen for Canelo. The two fights have nothing to do with each other except for both being important fights.

Outcome ? It's possible, but i don't see a near shut out for the simple fact that Donaire really respected Rigos power, i don't see trout power being a factor, it's his boxing ability. Trout can definitely win though

It might be like that. But tbh I would have expected it more in this fight than seeing Donaire, a genuinely legit top 5 pfp fighter get sonned like he did. I'm still shocked over that. That's just crazy. My jaws were hanging inches off my floor and I was standing up half the time. I don't see myself enduring that kind of awe here unless it's canelo who blows Trout out of the water.

Trout's monster wins over Rodriguez and Cotto have people thinking the guy is a boxing genius. He's good but Cotto had a ready to retire mentality coming into that fight and Cotto still caught Trout more than a few times despite having the much shorter reach.

Trout has a 72 inch reach and Canelo has a 71, while Cotto had a 67. Canelo is much faster than Cotto is and is an excellent combination puncher. I'm sticking with Canelo on this one, his speed and power are going to wear Trout down imo.

Yup, just like canelo's monster wins over Josesito Lopez and Mosley have people thinking the guy is a power punching terminator.

He stopped Lopez and Baldomir, two guys who had never been stopped before. He was bigger sure but to be fair, he has more KO's than Trout has wins.

And as everyone knows, those two will have entire wings named after them in Canastota.

I am not sure because, although people keep saying Canelo is stepping up a lot in competition, so is Trout. He has never been tagged like Canelo will tag him. Trout isn't schooling this kid.

But I'm not arguing about it any more. The fight is coming up soon. I'll only have another comment when we finally see what happens. Can't wait.

i doubt it.trout in the first half of his fights does not do so well he seems to really get it going as the fight goes on so canelo can probably get some of the early rounds.
i can't see trout winning every round like rigo did but i can see trout winning maybe 8-4
