I don't want to hear any excuses after this fight..i've been saying folks hyped up Trout simply because he beat a slow punching smaller man in Cotto and because they don't like Canelo. This may be the kids hardest fight but by no means is Trout a danger to the kid, he just does not have the power and while yes he's slick..he's a sloppy slick fighter.

Canelo would've been hyped even more had he been one to beat Cotto instead of Trout.

Does beating Cotto mean he'll beat Canelo? Of course not. But Trout will be able to use that experience to improve and motivate himself for his upcoming battle.
