Comments Thread For: Hearn: Kell Brook Withdraws From Devon Alexander Clash

Matchroom Sport can today confirm that Kell Brook will be unable to fight Devon Alexander on May 18 due to an injury to his right foot.

    Promoter Eddie Hearn said:

“Kell has recently developed pain in his right foot. Following specialist review and investigations over the last ten days he has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of his right fourth metatarsal and a further injury of his right navicular, both of which require on-going treatment including withdrawal from full training.

I get the feeling these guys really don't want to fight. Can their luck truly be this poor?

God damnit. I wanted to go watch Brook too. I hope they take Alexander off this card then. I'll just enjoy Matthysse vs PEDerson. ffs

What is Kell doing that's caused him to have a fucking stress fracture in his foot?

for the first time in ages i'm angry with Hearn.

all the wasted money british fans have spent buying and swapping around plane tickets.

where the hell was the apology to the fans!!!

I'm over Kell Brook. If I never hear his name again, I'll be fine

I was expecting/hoping a big coming out party for him. Now, I hope he just stops infiltrating potential matchups.
