This will be a tough fight for Canelo. Trout is a big Jr MW. He has good boxing skills. He might not be a KO artist but he's accurate, and hits just hard enough. Canelo has little defense so he will get hit. Trout, unlike Canelo's other opponents, will be able to withstand his punches. I think this fight will be just as interesting as the one last Saturday.

yah looks like they got much bigger with her pregnancy...hard to feel that bad for donaire when he is 1million dollars richer and gets to go home to those fine assets...Nonito will be spending time playing with the wife's amazing assets and doddling over the new addition to family. Which is good. Then heading north 1 division to hopefully avoid any more Rigo. Canelo/Trout is a different situation. Trout isn't the master boxer Rigo is. And Canelo seems to fight up to the level of competition. So we will definitely see a great fight won't we? I see Canelo stopping Trout mid/late rounds. I don't see this going to the scorecards.Comment

This fight wasn't a mismatch. It was a fight that Donaire came in too over confident for and played right in to the hands of a master counter puncher. It was Donaire's eagerness to knock him out without respecting the guys skills and training for it that got him this loss.
Good win for Rigo...I did not see this one coming and am very upset about the loss. Good though to humble Donaire back in to taking things a bit more serious next time he has a live opponent in front of him.
To close out what I'm trying to say, Rigo didn't beat Donaire on Saturday, Donaire got beat by Donaire.

The best and most effective punch in boxing is the jab. Donair couldn't get his off. Without the jab, he couldn't get in the right rhythm to follow up with his right.
Also, I can not understand how a fighter with 30 victories lacks the ability to cut off the ring.Comment
