Would've been a spectacular fight. I'd pay good money to see that. Not some garbage like Floyd/Guerrero.

LMFAO...In Floyds 12th pro fight he fought Angelo Nunez who then was 14w-11L-3D-4KOs woo woo woo!

Rigos 3rd fight he won the vacant NABA SBW title.
In his 7th fight he won the interim WBA SBW title.
In his 9th fight he won the WBA SBW title
Defending the WBA SBW title 3 times.
On his 12th fight he fought a top5 P4P for the WBO and WBA
      and won!

They are very different fighters though IMO. I think we should just respect the pure ability of each guy. Rigo has such a very long amateur backround that I fear his pro career might not be able to go as long.

I don't allow Floyd BS to get out of hand, and I call it like I see it, when a fighter is a better pure boxer than another fighter.
The funny part of this post is that you are not keeping any one in check. No Floyd fan mentioned Floyd after Rigondeaux beat Donaire. It's posters like you and all the other fools making threads about who would win, who's better, who has the better career between Rigondeaux and Mayweather. Who cares? Talk about Rigondeaux vs Mares/Garcia/Donaire II. Not Floyd.

If anything, all of you fools that keep making Rigondeaux/Mayweather comparison threads all need to get a mass banning to clear up the forum with this bullsh-t.

yeah, but rigo is 32 and just got his first good pro win. floyd was already lb for lb top at 32. of course, you have consider that rigo was stuck in Cuba and lost some good years there. on the flipside, floyd would probably have his gold if he wasn't robbed in the olympic semis.

Yeah but I think you are underestimating the Southpaw effect. That kills guys. Most guys just dont know how to fight Southpaws at all. They dont know how to attack them or defend themselves from there punches.

Right from the start of the video Rigo is just throwing a basic straight left down the pipe. Its a great shot but he's not truly doing anything special with it, yet the guy doesnt know how to defend. Now make Rigo orthodox and do those same moves. That guy will defend it 10x better.

I see it happen all the time with these fighters. Thats by far the biggest advantage in boxing to me and its a huge advantage in all of pro sports. Guys just arent use to facing it as much. Even Southpaws have problems with other Southpaws.

I do tend to give a guy more credit for doing something as a righty than as a lefty. On top of that, there is nearly nothing I love seeing more come up than a great lefty because I automatically think he will be that much harder to beat

I didn't even start this thread. I merely voiced my opinion. Sorry man. I thought this was a free country.

Edit: Wait a minute. Aren't you the same guy that ****s on Pacquiao every chance he gets???

                      Yeah, you mad.
