Or let's not. Do aire killed himself for years just so he could fight smaller fighters. He actually moved down and then he moved up. I dunno why ppl keep spouting this crap.

Donaire ascent 3 division up for the span of 3 years is too much....his power will increase but his speed and reflexes will be greatly affected as very evident on yesterday's fight....His sudden increase in weight turns to fat as he looked soft during the fight compared to muscle-bodybuilder built of rigo...he should have stayed longer at the bantamweight and improve his speed in perfection before going up to superbantamweight...He should have manage or control his weight with the help of a better dietician....His body physique look like a kid compared to a heavily and stronger built in rigo

He should collect all the belts and unite the division...and by time there will be new great prospects landing in the division (hopefully) and he will take care of them too...

Ah **** here we go. So it was the weight? Or was it the shoulder? Or the thumb in the eye? Or the baby?

These 2 can fight at Cruiserweight and Rigo still sons him mah dude.

It's called body type bro. You couldn't get Donaire to have Rigo's physique at any weight under 135. Rigo is only 5'4 and probably has ripped genes in his DNA and Nonito is built like a bean stalk. Prior to this fight everyone lauded Donaire for his state of the art training techniques that he's been doing for years and now that he loses he needed a dietician, or needs surgery on his shoulder, or didn't study Rigo, or wasn't focused because of his upcoming baby. C'mon he's a professional and an elite fighter, they all have distractions to deal with.

rigo's in a tough spot.... 'nito already beat most of the top guys in their division... whats rigo to do now??? move up? move down? or stay at this division and fight bums or get stale... tough decision. he is a marketing nightmare.

Sure, if you want to see another Moreno v Darchinyan fight, this time Vic gets KTFO......

After rigo won the 1st 5 or 6 rounds he ran for the next 4or5. He would out land nonito by landing a flurry to close those rounds. Rigo clearly won the 11th and 12th. Their were some big shots landed by both though.
^^^^ This BS right here. Rigo made Donaire look ****** - Rigo answered every shot Donaire threw with either combos or power shots, shyte, the only round he lost was the 10th when Donaire pushed off & landed that 2-piece that "should have" kept Rigo down, but didn't. 118-109 - get off Donaire's jock....

^^^^^When I thought the BS couldn't smell even worse. Apparently Donaire was a late bloomer, so he grew into his frame, so your weight argument is moot. He gets NO props, except that he took some shots BUT he ran in the 12th when he got that cookie on his eye from Rigo. And what "sudden weight"? That man signed a contract to come in @ 122. Don't care what you do, you come in @ that weight or under. NO EXCUSES. Own up to it. He should have done this, done that - mofo PLEASE, spare us! Ain't nothing to look at - give Rigo his props for beating that man convincingly. Whatever he does from hereon, I'm good with it. Stop your nonsense.....

Exactly! He signed to fight & should have prepared to do as such.......

All Rigo has to do is bring his A-game each outing and finish who ever the WBA and WBO mandate that he fight in stellar fashion like he did Teon Kennedy in his first title defense. I don't beleive any other bantamweight in the world could have lasted until the the final round this weekend; every one else cracks an eye socket by the sixth round I say ~ not the 12th.

HBO would surely pay for a Rigo who consistently dominates opponents and knocks them out mid-way through the fight and I have little doubt that is just what he could do until his skills begin to fade with age. I could see him being more aggressive against future foes at 122lbs and finishing them inside four rounds; he couldn't let his hands go as much against Donaire because of the danger he posed.
