You're so right. Arum needed to keep that comment private. Something has happened to the sport in the last few years. Boxing is now called "running" and brawling is now called "boxing." A skilled fighter is boring and a toughguy with little or no skill is entertaining. Whatever, man....

The problem with people saying that Rigo will not be popular is that it is NOT true. From this fight we can see his fan base increasing already. There are MORE people who have become fans than the few who are complaining about 'running'.

Irony of the times. The loud ones get attention but the masses believe otherwise.

I've taught about this a the past few days.

Hope this doesn't sound like a bait, but hear me out:

Many, many Filipino fans became boxing fans due to Pac. So they got used to defining boxing as all out attacking; though of course there was more to Pac than just brawling, much more.

So many Nonito fans cannot be as delusional. I am starting to think that they really do believe that Nonito deserved better because they defined boxing according to the Pac approach: attack, attack, attack, attack.

Its like growing up and defining great soccer through say Barcelona. In comparison Mourinho seems "negative."
