not at their pace, plenty of punches

    dont rate/consider vlad as a counter-puncher
Wlad is a counter puncher, but you are correct with your examples, especially Calzaghe/Hopkins. Those pressure fighters did force a faster pace on those counter punchers and the counter punchers suffered losses because of it.

I don't consider Moreno a counter puncher. And what counterpuncher did Froch fight that he had success against?

i believe pac threw fewer punches vs JMM than any oher ww opponent. i thin k you found some good fights but i think they are the exception and not the rule.

Even in losing, he threw as much as always against Ward and had him sucking wind in the last two rounds. Bute was the favored knockout artist counter puncher, and Froch smoked him.

Moreno is definitely a counter puncher. He just doesn't have power.

I'd pick Pac to stop Rigo. He was a crazy animal back then, Rigondeaux would have to land some huge shots that stopped Pac in his tracks. Don't see it happening.
Pacquiao was outboxed by Morales around that time. He still lacked refinement and was very one dimensional

See what I'm trying to say? This guy was giving Pac a boxing lesson and was boxing his ears off. Watch the full video and guess what happened? My point is..Pac proved he can beat a boxer/runner while Rigo's one good win against fellow boxer/mover did not.

Now show me a video of Rigo beating a fighter like Pac with the same attributes not those tomato cans.
Aside from the KO, I guess Pac's chin broke the Thai Champs fist. Damn Manny kept coming forward looking to land while eating tons of punches lol!
