I was watching the fight this morning and I was sick too my stomach thinking Rigo was going to get robbed

Donaire would land a little punch and that guy would go crazy ,Rigo would come back with 3 in a row and not even a whisper about it

At one point Rigo caught Donaire coming in with a straight left and turned him to the ropes and guy what this guy says "oh Donaire almost landed a short right"

I want this man hung

I'm so glad Rigo got the decision.... I had to explain to my family that Donaire makes money because he has a huge fan base with America exposure and the Phillipines behind him and that Rigo defected and has had little exposure until now which probably explains the bias.


I'm so glad at least one of the judges got the scores right

I personally gave Rigo rounds 1,2,3,4,6,7,9,11,12

So Donaire had 5,8 and 10 with a knock down

What scores did everyone else get and can someone post a picture and name and shame this bias commentator


And on a side note to all the people that say this was dull you guys need to get your head checked... I was on the edge of my seat watching every single little feint ... one of the best fights I've enjoyed for a while... nothing better than two guys with exceptional power chess matching it out...

I was more on the edge of my seat for this fight than any other fight in a long time.... just waiting for someone to land something huge

You should have heard HBO's commentary, it was the exact opposite. They didn't give Donaire any credit and downplayed him the whole fight and even the Knockdown lol.

hmm they should have given credit for the knockdown... Donaire created that moment and shouldn't be downplayed one bit for what he did... nobody said break or anything and he manoeuvred Rigo into squaring up to get him off balance with the shot

It did seem Bias

Towards the end of the fight the dude commentating on boxnation was like "Oh I think Donaire is a round up" - I think Sheridan.

After round 4 he said some right ****** **** - "I have Nonito up half a round"

WTF is half a round?

When Timmy said something boxing related (about Rigo's left hand I believe) he was like "Wow yeah you're right Timmy great point!" - Almost as if he wasn't even listening or is speaking as if the people (us) listening are dumbasses.

He was good early on in saying "I won't make a judgement yet as I don't want to lead you viewers off" - But then towards the later rounds he was still on the fence even though he denied this.

First 4 rounds slow pace with little to call between them.. then Rigo clearly won the middle rounds and last couple.
