Rough time to be a pac-tard. Manny gets put to sleep, then they jump ship to Donaire and gets beat, and Hawaiian Punch Viloria (Somehow Filipino) takes a beating. Where are these guys going to go? Gesta? Gesta got slapped around by Vasquez.

yeah, it is rough time for the pinoys right now .. you could also add donnie nietes who should've lost to fuentes which happened not too long ago .. it's definitely getting worse..

gesta was never recognized as someone who would be somebody in boxing, he was a bum...

It is in a fighters natur to refuse that he is inferior to the guy that beat him, it is a possitiv denial.

Its like smokers that pathologicaly make up all kind of excuses to why smoking aint that bad for them.

As a champion the worst beating is not alwasy the knockdown, getting outclassed, outboxed, and beat up by a guy that looks like he is having a field day, can be 100 times as damaging to a boxers selfasteam.

If a fighter want to continue in boxing, it is actually a healthy sign that he is making up excuses.

No more excuses from the Nonitos, Rigo proved to be the best in the division by winning a bout to one of the best pound per pound in the World. Nonito won only one round to the eyes of many, which also observed that that knocked down was quite questionable. HBO vote 85% to 15%, that was a HUGE margin considering the favorite was not Rigo.

Sorry Donaire, you are a better boxer but Rigg is just a lot smarter than you are! Rigg made you chase him all night and you followed, tsk tsk!. Only the Klitshko brothers can chase other boxers and knocks them out!

Boxers that just stay quiet after a big loss and go under the radar for a while are always better off than guys who go the pre-madonna route and start making excusing.

As a Donaire fan, except that you got outclassed and move on. Besides, it was very obvious he didn't take this fight NEAR as serious as he should have considering he was breathing with his mouth open in the 3rd round.

Nonito doesn't lose for 12 years straight, Manny for 6, Viloria beats 5 Mexicans straight...but One Rigo, One KO, and one Estrada later all of a sudden its "RIP Filipino Boxing"? GTFOH

I'm not even disrespecting Latino boxers when I say that. Rigo boxed beautifully and I'm a fan. Pacman ate a cold one. There's no denying that. Viloria lost, plain and simple. But "RIP Filipino Boxing"? Stop it.
