This was such a great fight for we boxing purists. Anyone who didn't like it and starts whining about some supposed track meet... you need to pick another sport. This was a true master boxing clinic, no other way to describe it. Deal with it.

Man. Ya'll are too ******. donaire had a bad shoulder, struggled to make weight and his wife is pregnant. That's alot against him and he almost stopped this runner. I don't know what cheap crack HBO was on cause donaire was winning in my eyes. He was the one applying the pressure and being more active plus the knockdown. If there's a rematch, donaire will make this bum run fast to bed and sleep tight.

From the looks of it, i think you're the one who's on the cheap crack. I understand you want to root for your countryman but don't make pathetic excuses when he himself admitted to not even having studied rigo. I'd hate top read what you wrote when pacman went to sleep. Donaire isnt the 1st boxer to go thru a tough situation during training, cotto went thru it when he stopped training with his uncle and got smashed by pac and margacheato. The ghost went thru it with his wife anf still came in fight night and KO'ed his opponent in the 1st round. Quit cryin already and just give rigo his props man. He completely out classed donaire. End of story

When you go back and watch Rigo's previous fights then watch last night's fight you can tell he was bored and not taking those guys seriously.

Last night he did WAY LESS show boating and didn't do his usual little thing where steps in and out and mimics his combo before throwing.

There's a reason why he wanted this fight so bad and it wasn't just the money. He knew what he could do. There's a reason why Donaire never wanted this fight either and it wasn't cause Rigo is an "unknown".

This was JMM/PBF all over in my book. One guy had the drive to make the action but ultimately, pressuring wasn't his forte and he got frustrated in the process. The other guy was perfectly content stinking up the place to fight his fight.
