Hagler's power. Before I ever watched a Hagler fight I got the impression that he had Hearns-type power from reading about him in the forums and his KO percentage. But really most of his KO's are from an accumulation of punishment

marvin hagler was a good puncher. he could fight south or right handed, and he had good power in ether hand from either stance.

nobody really touts him as a huge puncher or a face first brawler other than people who learned about him on legendary nights, though he could brawl, and he did have a big punch.

he was a terrifically well rounded fighter with very deep skills. he was fast, could box, punch, brawl, and he had a great chin.

Hagler's chin, Holmes' jab, De La Hoya's left hook.

He has a few good 1PKO's such as Monroe III and one(maybe both) of the Obel fights.

I'd say he had very good power but not great.

                really?

de la hoya had scud missle power in his left hand, all the way to WW, and holmes has one of the best jabs i've seen.

and marvin hagler's chin was unreal throughout his career, considering that he didn't linger long after his prime.

No I'm sorry. Tommy Hearns was a very strong puncher and nobody will be able to do what he did (move from welter to light heavy) and be successful
