Comments Thread For: Krzysztof Wlodarczyk-Rakhim Chakhkiev Two Fight Deal

There is a two-fight agreement in place for WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (47-2-1, 33 KOs) to defend his title against undefeated Rakhim Chakhkiev (16-0, 12 KOs) on June 22 in Moscow, Russia. The agreement, while not fully finalized, guarantees Wlodarczyk an immediate rematch in the event he loses to the 2008 Olympic gold medal winner.

I don't know if we need to see it twice but it's an interesting matchup.

Lol, Wlodarcyzks team know there's a very likely possibility he loses, that's why they made the rematch clause. Same with bute-froch.

Either way, excellent matchup and the cruiserweight division is really heating up, there's some great fights coming this year. Shame a lot of Americans don't know a lot about the divisions. a lotta fun fights to be made, fan wise.

Props to Kryzstof for taking this fight and not Roy jones Jr. He's solid but Rakhim is going to mop the floor with him. I don't even think they fight a second time if Chakhkiev wins how I think he will. This could be the end of Wlodarcyzk, IMO.

Huck-olafabiv, jones-Levedev and now this, will hell clear some things up toward the end of the year
