Selling out an arena by selling tickets dirt cheap is not a significant accomplishment. If Alvarez was that big of a draw, this fight would be on PPV instead of Showtime.

Those were the original prices. Since then, the tickets have tripled in value and more. I know for a fact that you can't find tickets that cheap anymore unless you have connections.

The funny thing is that the first thing haters do is denied the're not hating.....but they can stop bashing the successful guy any chance they get, than they ask how is that hating????

            Credit where is due!!!

I personally didnt think that Canelo would step up to the plate and fight a true boxer like Trout but he did. This tells me that he is not scared and this fight will show if Canelo really is the real deal. I believe Trout will out box and make him look bad but again I give Canelo lots of credit and now he has the chance to let his performance speak for itself with no excuses this time that his oponent is smaller, or older or washed up.... Looking forward to the fight!!!

Yes, a lot of tickets were cheap but I don't see how anyone can truly hate on that. It's a great thing to see large crowds in this sport and certainly helps boost interest.

It's annoying how some people are so obsessed with one guy being more popular than another that they don't see that 35,000 people going and watching boxing is great for the sport, whatever price they pay.

This is the same Venue, where Sweet Pea got Jobbed by J.C. Chavez?
The last Mexican to lose in the area was Santa Ana!!!
