HATT IN THE RING FOR TRIPLE STATESIDE DEAL

RICKY HATTON is set to sign a three-fight deal as part of his masterplan to conquer the United States.

The WBA and IBF light-welterweight king is close to agreeing to fight Arturo Gatti, Jose Luis Castillo and Ben Rabah in America - and his likely first contest will be on May 13 against IBF mandatory challenger Rabah.

Hatton's dad and manager Ray said: "Promoter Dennis Hobson has put together quite a nice deal with an American promoter and we're considering it."

Rumour has it, the American promoter is Bob Arum.

And rumour has it that Castillo will come before Gatti with Gatti fight being at welterweight, leaving Baldomir/Mayweather/Judah to sort out the welterweight situation for Ricky's fourth (and possibly final) fight.

Warren is apparently trying to make Hatton fight M'Baye regardless. It also rather negates the reasons for fighting Maussa.
