He walks around 150/151 lbs at best. He does not believe in blowing up in weight, only to go down 15 to 20 lbs before a fight. He thinks that is unhealthy (and it really is!). He also does not believe in throwing on a whole bunch of water weight on fight night either. And that is also quite unhealthy.

Because so many fighters don't do this though, he looks at them as being undisciplined and has said that specifically. That many fighters are undisciplined. There are very, very few fighters that do this today. Manny Pacquaio fights around his walk around weight too, so he's another rarity.

Here is the thing with the weight with Mayweather... Simple... Mayweather knows when Mayweather is going to fight.. NOBODY ELSE knows when Mayweather is going to fight... So before he announces he's coming back to fight.. he starts preparing way in advance...common sense... if you know for a fact your going to fight May 5th... you know when to start cutting weight... and since the person who is fighting Mayweather, NEVER KNOWS when he is fighting mayweather.. they don't have that luxury of preparing.. Mayweather knows alot of ways to get the advantage on the opponent.. people just don't think about things like this..

You boys have just got the most skewed way of thinking , Floyd is an ATG that trains like a machine he dont need to study anything about Guerrero he just needs to be Floyd , its like the other idiot hater that said Robert is doing a publicity tour while Floyd trains , it lasted 48 hours and Robert was not in training , Floyd trains at 2am while Robert sleeps is that cheating , fckn idiots on this site are like germs , give the man some credit for being the great fighter he is , he pushes himself to extremes to be what he is ..

They dont think about this BS because its irrelevant , they have ample time to prepare seeing as they are trying to get the fight for a good year before they do and they know better than 12 wks out when they are in the box seat to secure it , every one of Floyds opponents come in the best shape of their careers , Floyd has that effect on them .

Another interesting point, but I would say guys know if they are in the running so it is not like they get that call out of thin air and his fights are always made at least 4 or 5 months in advance, so I don't think those guys have a shortage of time to prepare.

I will say though that lots of stuff that gets said about Floyd and what he does is just regurgitating the same tired played out stuff over and over again, but you have thought outside the box and even if I don't really agree it is a fresh take.

              So for you sir, Bravo

He is 30 days from fight night and already weighs 148.2

He has never been known to weigh much more than 150-151 for any of his fights.

So how do you figure that he is closer to 165-170? I'd really like to hear your explanation.

About the 6th round or so when less conditioned athletes start to fatigue, I see Floyd simply remaining strong as other fighters fade.
Being in great condition is not a adjustment. And Floyd has nothing to do with them tiring?

For all the bull**** that comes with Mayweather, he is a consummate professional when it comes to his craft and staying in shape. for that, I have to give him the utmost respect.

I actually got to see Floyd not too long ago in person when he promoted that fight in Detroit, MI. I didn't want to appear to be a groupie, although I wanted to make the connection that we are months apart in age and I grew up 2 and a half hours away from him in Saginaw, MI. Also, because of the ****iness he shows on tv, I didn't want him to say something that would be disrespectful.

Broner was also with him. Broner appeared to be an inch or so shorter but a little wider and heavier than Floyd. When I spoke to Floyd (not a conversation) all I could think of was that this dude is small as heck. He appeared to be the size I was in high school and I was considered small in high school. He was definately about 155 pounds. There were a couple teenagers, young adults (maybe early 20's) who came up to speak with them and they stayed and appeared that they were all going to hang out a bit. Floyd was a little more reserved than Broner.

I think that the scale will be shown on All Access. I doubt they just took a picture and not going to show this on the show. But my point is Floyd is small as heck. I'm about 5'8" and 185 and he was no where my size.

I wondered where them and those kids went. I know those young people may of had the time of their lives, even if it was a ride down the street and back. And no, I didn't see the Money Stack.
