It's his mandatory. Besides, a near 50 year old man doesn't deserve a tune up?

This fight does nothing for Hopkins, he should drop the belt.

By the way, B-Hop will fight for a belt against Cleverly, so why bother with the IBF's?

IMO, a fighter of B-Hops magnitude should not worry about the ABCs story, he is long past that in his career.

B-Hop can fight whoever he wants he's earned it.

What's an even bigger joke is that this bullsht is going to be the main event to what probably will be a weak card.

It's his mando and if anyone's to blame, it's Cloud for keeping the IBF belt hostage and not honoring his mando agreement. Remember, Murat was Cloud's mando prior to Cloud losing to Hopkins.

Earl Hickey jumping to conclusions as always. I won't say much more - you're a Tyson Fury fan which is a good thing

I'll probably just skip this, hopefully there are better fights on the under-card.

Golden Boy paid step aside money to Murat who was Cloud's mandatory. In order for Hopkins to fight Cloud they had to pay Murat and make a deal that if Hopkins wins he'd fight him next, so there is an obligation there. It is what it is.
