Floyd really seems adamant about fighting 30 more months...

I mean he must have brought it up 3-4 times throughout the episode, that he intends to fight 30 more months, until Fall 2015 and call it quits. I really hope it's true, that he stays busy for those 30 months, because no one can deny Floyd fighting is good for the sport.

So....do you think he actually keeps his word and stays busy for 30 more months???

Probably how long his contract is for just gonna bank and retire, he knows he cant fight for ever no one can, and he aint no bhop so the end is near, either by choice or force and floyd is the type to play it safe and go out by choice.

I just hope we see him fight twice a year these last few years.

In short no, unless of course he loses a few times.

I don't see 5 other PPV level opponents out there right now. That could change of course, but outside of Canelo, none of the PPV fighters are ready or work with TR/HBO.

People will probably buy regardless of the opponent

                Here's a prediction.....

Guerrero, Peterson (if he beats Lucas, yes I could see that happening), Brook (if he beats Alexander), Alvarez (if he beats Trout), Garcia (if he continued winning between now and late next year), and than possibly Pacquiao or Bradley if their contracts expire from top rank at some point.

Been saying for a minute that Floyd and Pac would loose at least once more each before finally retiring for good.

I don't care how much Floyd makes, only a handful of athletes generate the residual income after retirement to support the kind of life Floyd lives, and people don't give a **** about boxers these days.

He went broke in 18 months last time he retired, man.

Those are possible, but I really hope Peterson/Lucas and Brook would take another fight with a top WW before getting a Floyd fight. I guess Khan won't ever go away as an option either, but if he went to WW, got a decent win, then fought Brook, I could see the winner getting a shot. I think Broner is a possibility too, regardless of how good a friends they are right now. They just seem like hard sells ATM.
