PRIME paul williams vs GGG. How does it play out?

so far from what ive seen willy out boxes him

Well yeah actually he is such a great boxer, 345-5 in amateurs speaks for itselfs. I know amateurs are not the same thing as pro game bluh bluh. Guy is the real deal, and this year will prove it

As far as this fight, I think P. Will would respect GGG's power and try to box him like he did Margarito. Somewhere in the fight a brawl will break out since GGG is very effective cutting off the ring. If P. Will can survive the early onslaught (the way Rosado did), he can tire out Golovkin and win a decision by outworking GGG in the late rounds. However, GGG can end the fight if he is able to get P. Will on the ropes and land his devastating combinations to the body and head. I see this fight ending in either a P.Will competitive UD (116-112/115-113) or a mid-round stoppage for GGG.

Yeah and that was the only big win in his career, and Cotto wasn't that much either to be honest. Margarito was mediocre boxer with great hype and great fanbase, that's all.

What exactly do you mean when you say 'prime' Paul Williams?

Are you talking about the version that barely beat Margarito, the version that got taken to school by Carlos Quintana, or the version that was KTFO'd by Sergio Martinez?

He probably means the pre-Martinez KO Williams. Since this is a middleweight fight it would be the P. Will who fought Wright and Martinez in 2009.

Margarito was a damn good fighter but he was nowhere near the boxer that Golovkin is. Golovkin's a really clinical puncher with legit power, accuracy, and great balance. He doesn't just unload like Tony did. Margarito was a saturation bomber, Golovkin's all about precision.

Golovkin still hasn't proven anything and williams was battle-tested.

They didn't call him the punisher for nothing, Paul williams could ****ing fight. I've never seen Golovkin in a real fight.

If Williams kept GGG from landing something big early we would be in for another Williams-Martinez I.

Once William got warmed up he could eat plenty of big shots, lets not let one perfect Martinez punch change the legacy of the man. He could eat a punch as good as anyone in his prime.
