He's been waiting for the outcome of Arreola-Stiverne which has been delayed several times.

Vitali had planned to announce his decision in December after that fight, but it was delayed, and then delayed twice after that.

If Arreola wins, Vitali will retire.

If Stiverne wins, Vitali will have to fight him, because a Don King fighter will never unify with Wladimir.

The lure of an extra $7-10 million is hard to resist, especially when he is a politician who will need funds to promote his views. At the same time, judging by his fight with charr, he has not only slowed down, which in itself would be no harm, but he has been hesitating to punch and, is not punching with power, looking more like heavy pushes than blows. Also he was frequently beaten to the punch, and his responses were hesitant, half-hearted, and lacking authority.

He also didn't look in his usual really trim shape.

i think he has done enough and should retire. Just my opinion.

Spot on. prior to chisorra fight he looked almost invincible. He should retire - didn't look much as himself in last two fights.

He was very busy with politics and didn't train in his usual manner for the last two fights.

The last time he looked in great shape was for Adamek.

I think he should only fight again if he can give training camp his undivided attention.
