i cant wait for floyd to lose but i dont think hatton is in the same league as floyd, actually they arent even playing the same game. when hatton comes over the pond and fights anyone with a name he wont be undefeated anymore.

I can't believe that people's memories are so short. Hatton does what he needs to win, he has a fantastic boxing brain. Against Ben Tackie he did something akin to Morales vs Pac Man. He boxed well but kept it exciting. Against Tszyu he made it rough in order to take KT out of his gameplan, neutralize his power and tire him out. Against Maussa, he was far too fired up at the start due to his legal wranglings with Warren and his new status as world champion. After a few rounds he relaxed and got it together. You don't have to love him, but to say that he doesnt have any skills is ridiculous. Mayweather would have gone straight after Hatton if he thought that, and he obviously knows his boxers. And as someone has pointed out above, Castillo gave Mayweather an incredibly tough fight (IMO he won), so Mayweather isn't untouchable. He is a fantastic talent but then so is Hatton, thats why this fight generates so much talk on here and other sites, and that's why this fight absolutely must happen.

If Hatton had fought KT in the US he would have won. People come to America and win, its been done a few times and by people less skilful than Hatton. Watch him go over there and win.

I've never seen Hatton look worse than he did against Maussa, and it wasn't exactly vintage Hatton against Tszyu either.

If that Hatton shows up against Mayweather, it'll be a one-sided beatdown. Hatton would get battered.

Hatton would need to some damage in the first four rounds. If he does not accomplish anything there, he is not going to be able to slow Mayweather down at all due to his tremendous conditioning, and hatton will probably be disposed of around round 8 or 9.
