Just rewatched floyd vs cotto. Floyd is def not the same fighter he use to be. He doesn't have the stick and move mentaillity that he use to have cause his legs won't allow it. That being said I still think he can bust up the ghost by trading with him and slipping punches with that shoulder roll d. He did it to Miguel and he's better the Robert. I hope I'm wrong tho.

I like how people keep bringing up how Floyd is losing his legs, blah, blah, blah, blah. They keep bringing up the Cotto fight as if Cotto isn't a future hall of famer. It just amazes me! People act like that's the first fight where Floyd didn't use his legs and he sat in the pocket and fought. He did the same thing with Augustus, bloody nose and bloody mouth. He did the same thing with Corley, bloody mouth and he was cut. I wouldn't worry about moving either if I'm catching all the guys shots with elbows, shoulders and gloves. Cotto landed a jab that caused the bloody nose, he pressured Floyd and barely landed...But I guess that equates to losing your legs. Guerrero is gonna get blasted.

Its going to be an interesting fight. Mayweather hasn't shown an ability to stop a durable guy besides face first Hatton. That Ortiz cheapshot doesn't really qualify. Robert Byrd won't allow it to be the inside fight that favors Guerrero. I have the feeling the ref advantage will actually play out similar to the way Cortez neutralized Hatton's inside opportunities. I don't see Guerrero having a chance at all anymore. He won't be able to mug Floyd and won't be able to break him down. It should be a competitive but clear UD for Mayweather. Byrd really blows. Mayweathers legs are slower but he has so many different adjustments he can make that he really doesn't even have to stick and move to win fights. The guy is a boxing genius. He is defensively great even in close quarters. He is truly one of a kind in that regard. Even Bhop eats shots while in range from time to time. Guerrero will definitely fight a tactical fight and can make adjustments but I think by the time he gets things going it will be too little too late. Floyd's gonna be 2 steps ahead. As the fight draws near I just can't help but feel that age isn't going to matter much when you know the sport of boxing inside and out like Floyd does cuz he's been doing it his whole life and has been brought up by 2 of the best boxing minds there is. There's never going to be another Floyd, on top of everything he has the physical gifts to go along with it all. Only way he loses right now is by taking on a middleweight.
