David Haye vs. Manuel Charr: who wins?

This fight is now on the BoxRec schedule for June 29.

I realize that doesn't mean it's really happening, but it's an easier fight to sell to the public than Haye-Wawrzyk and of course Haye won't fight a bona fide top 10 opponent like Kubrat Pulev.

Manuel Charr made this promo poster:

Charr is not a top ten heavyweight, but he's at least strong and he can take a punch (he's clearly a better opponent than Andrew Wawrzyk and will put up a better fight).

I think Haye wins by stoppage but Charr will go down fighting.

It's a decent comeback fight for Haye. Pulev would be an exceptional risk for DH.

LOL at Manuel Charr's 'Diamond Boy' promo videos, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. Charr is desperate for a payday/exposure, and, for Haye, it's an easy fight.

Seems like a pointless fight if Haye is serious about getting a mandatory spot. Is Charr even ranked in the top 10 by a sanctioning body?

One thing is certain. If the fight happens, and Haye blasts him out of there in under 3 rounds, the fan boys will be on here saying "Haye did what Vitali couldn't do...".

Charr is shit, I'm still in disbelief that he fought Vitali.

Haye takes him out in 5 but it don't mean shit.

Agree, but I think it's a decent tune-up fight for a tougher opponent later in the year. Haye has been out of the ring for a while now.

Decent come back fight. I expect David to take him out inside 6.

Yes, and Charr will at least put up a fight.

Wawrzyk would be a round one KO. And people have at least heard of Charr, so it's an easier fight to sell.

LOL at that fight poster with Charr holding Haye's head.

David is going to absolutely love that.

This guy actually seems like he can sell and fight and has a bit of the salesman about him and has decent English to boot which will help.

It is most likely going to be a middling sort of opponent so this guy will do. And it might be entertaining if Charr can take punishment for 5 or more rounds without getting stopped. He does look pretty rudimentary though. Haye could probably chin him.
