Comments Thread For: Thomas Dulorme To Return on June 28 in New York

Puerto Rico's Dulorme Thomas (18-1, 13KOs) is ready for a quick return to the ring. This past Saturday night in Carolina, he won an eight round unanimous decision over late-replacement Ben Ankrah of Ghana. According to Dulorme, he will return to the ring on June 28 in New York and the fight will be televised by either ESPN as part of their Friday Night Fights series or Showtime as part of their ShoBox series. Dulorme will continue to push his weight down as he travels to the junior welterweight division.

Better be a real opponent at a real weight class. IMO he should've stayed at 147. No time to go back to fighting bums. They wanted to throw him to the wolves, they should at least keep the level of competition high.

It's funny how Dulorme went from being the number 1 prospect according to most of this forum to a guy who get's 1 reply to his threads after a single defeat.

      Boxing fans are ruthlessly fickle.

I'm just not happy with the way they have handled him afterwards. They should've never taken that fight vs Abregu either and all for an HBO date.

I get a kick out of some of these fans calling Dulorme nothing bc @ 22 he lost to Abregu. Good for Dulorme staying busy and hopefully he can get good opponents and keep winning.

Hmm maybe because his opponent selection as of lately isn't anything to comment on?
