  • Comments Thread For: Botha Says No Sonny Bill Repeat, Vows Quick Parker KO

Francois Botha says he will take some frustration out on young Kiwi heavyweight Joseph Parker in the first fight since his loss to Sonny Bill Williams.

South African boxer Francois Botha says the best way to remove the bitter memory of his loss to Sonny Bill Williams is to clobber another New Zealand heavyweight.

The 44-year-old will face rising Kiwi Joseph Parker in Auckland on June 13 in his first fight since the controversial defeat against Williams at Brisbane in February.

Allegations of corruption, bribes and a failed drugs test followed Williams' win on points. Botha also complained that the fight was cut from 12 rounds to 10 by the Williams camp as the former All Black began to struggle in the closing stages. [Click Here To Read More]

Botha should be able to win this tbh, Parker isn't up to much he was an ok amateur and is a rank novice pro who hasn't shown much of anything so far, and now jumping up in class to face a still decent Botha

If botha can't beat this he should give it up for good

However I fully expect shenanigans, just like there were in the SBW fight.

Boxing down under is a joke
