Kessler was probably at his career worst coming into the fight against Froch. He has improved a lot since then, his jab is sharper, he's gone back to the straight 1-2 as you saw against Magee. Uses body punches again (to be fair that worked great against Froch in the first fight) - So i don't really see how you can say he has regressed. There's no evidence of that.

i can see wht your saying but kessler got dropped by green, i know green can **** but vintage kessler would never get hit by green so i do think he has slowed down but the magee fight was a joke, i really think froch will be better prepared but you can never count out an elite fighter in kessler

Lets look at Carl's opponents,Mack and Bute since losing badly against Ward an struggling past Johnson,nearly two years ago,if anyone has aged its Froch.
Had Kessler have fought Stieglitz and Bute as was planned,before injury and Froch getting to the bum Bute first,the bookkeepers would have an whole new outlook on this fight.Kessler is too slick and intelligent for Frochs caveman approach.there is no gulf in opposition,in the last three years,Magee maybe he wasn't a real champion but he was mandatory challenger for a reason before being handed the title,Green a tough seasoned operator knocked out cold,KO of the year for me.home advantage won't mean **** with 5k vociferous Danes in attendance,they'll have more to cheer and celebrate with Mikkel's ruthless efficiency,the Brits will be silenced.

i don't think hatton is going to make the mistake of telling people to bet their houses anymore. he's lowered his expectations and is now telling them just to bet their cars or family members.
