I agree that big fight experience is a major asset. But I tend to believe it's a much stronger asset when you've had to go to war to win those big fights. Donaire hasn't been in any big fight wars. That's not a knock -- Nonito has been clearly better than most everyone he's fought -- but serious adversity is what builds character and big fight experience.

A championship fight lasts for 12 rounds with the duration of each round being 3 minutes. An egg can be boiled in 3 minutes. Disregarding the 1 minute break in between each round and any potential stoppages throughout the fight, you could have 12 boiled eggs on your hands at the end of a championship fight if you wanted!!!!

Yeah Rigondeaux is going to open himself alot in the fight and it will play right into Donaire's hands.

This fight is a hard one to pick a winner for. Donaire has more big fight experience and has a strong resume. I think Rigo has better skills but he's relatively untested and who knows how he'll handle the big stage. Regardless, I see this being a fight of the year candidate. Can't wait!!!

Nonito is a composed guy in the ring and a frightening puncher who has understandable belief in that power so he'll likely stay patient and unruffled if finding himself out-boxed early. But if he's getting hurt by Rigo's punches as well as out-scored will Donaire lose his cool and try to force the issue or will he still be composed enough to just keep waiting for a chance to drop the bomb. If Rigondeaux starts well and pays attention all the way I think he pulls the upset.
