Marquez is a greater fighter. He's just a better, more skilled boxer than PAC is or ever will be, so if we're basing greatness on skills, ability then it's Marquez clearly, but if we're basing this on accomplishments and how many weight classes a fighter ran through then it's Manny. It's not rocket science, Mannys accomplishments are greater, but Marquez is a greater fighter.

It comes down to what you're basing greatness on...skills or accomplishments? Marquez is a greater fighter, he's just a better, more skilled fighter while Pacquiao's accomplishments are amazing and probably won't be surpassed for a while and that's not including the bogus titles at 145 or 150 if you get what I'm saying.

      More skilled? Debatable.

Marquez would agree with you but I don't. Marquez is cuter stylistcally but Manny's style/skill-set is harder to deal with. The reason why Manny won three out of four fights is because he throws more and lands more. He imposes his style/skill on Marquez more than Marquez imposes his style/skill on him. Just look at their last fight. Without the juice, Marquez was getting stopped. PERIOD. He cannot match Manny's level of sheer will at the end of the day. Just remember this, cuter doesn't always mean better. It's who's style/skill-set is harder to deal with and that's Manny. Marquez is almost too pateint and trys to be too perfect far to often. He's a great technician in the ring but he wouldn't have beat a lot of fighters that Manny beat and that is why Manny is special and an all-time great. Marquez struggels with lesser fighters far too often in my book and if he fights Bradley, Bradley will outpoint him. He's too fast and too atheletic. Manny made Bradley look average and that's the difference.

Marquez. He's never been knocked cold 3 times, and he knocked Pac the **** out!

If you have proof Marquez juiced when he beat Pac, let us know because I can then accuse anyone of anything in boxing-without proof!

How about Gary Russell Jr, he might be more skilled than Pac, no?

If JMM's better, you'd think he would have used his ability to beat better fighters, making loads of cash along the way. But he didn't, he struggled plenty with the likes of Kats, Diaz, washed up Casa and well past prime Barrera.

Remove Pac from his resume, what are his 2 top wins?

Because Pac's refusal of drug testing will always be a dark cloud over some of the best years of his career.

                    cmon, man.

not taking a drug test because floyd mayweather tells you to doesn't mean you are on PED's.

i give both guys the benefit of the doubt, but if we're speculating, i'd say that marquez is the more su****ious of the two when it comes to PED's. his body went through a massive transformation at an incredibly advanced age under the tutelage of memo heredia, a notorious, and self professed PED guru.

if you know anything about memo heredia it raises red flags. he's one of the shadiest characters in top level sport of the last 10 years. if anybody would like information i can provide it.

i have my su****ions about both fighters, but we certainly can't include su****ious for one while ignoring the pall cast over the other.

                    to the TS:

the answer is pacquiao, and it's really not up for debate at this stage. that's where the experts will side, and it's where i side. i'm not saying i'm an expert, i'm just telling it like it is.
