This. Not at all the debut I expected from a 2x gold medalist.

I was at a promotion in the Korakuen Hall many years ago. I thoyght the crowd weren't enjoying themselves, and I was. But at the ends of rounds and the fight itself there was applause. The biggest (physically) fighter in all Japan was on th card, the son of a Japanese woman and a black American soldier. He was a middleweight.

I recall that it poured buckets when I was leaving and there were many enterprising street vendors selling clear plastic raincoats for the equivalent of about 50 cents. I still havemine as a souvenir. I had many interesting experiences there and it is the only place I always wanted to revisit. Never did.

ZOU is the man's family name

... not Shiming. ZOU is huge here in China. CCTV5 (China's ESPN) shows all the big boxing matches. Let's return the love of the sport by getting Chinese boxers' names right. Family name comes first in Chinese family names, Zou Shiming... Peace.

write me a paragraph on this, loser.

would you rather have donaire punch you in the balls 10 times or give roach a rim job after he just finished a training session with chavez jr?

Macau is part of china, and most spectators were chinese! What do you expect from viewers who love their second pro fighter, if not to clap their hands tremendously every rounds regardless of who wins, because for them Zou wins evey bit of round? But mind you, only few among chinese viewers were analytic boxing fans.

Zou Shiming fought like a wild amateur

Zou did not impress me at all. He looked wild and was showing off because he was the big attraction. They are just building him up. Did you see his opponent, what a joke. Lol.

Roach had to grab the best fighter out of a country of 1.6 billion people, go to the other side of the world, and put him in the ring for a 4 round fight with a guy who looked like an anorexic 12 year old just to get back in the W column HAHA. I was not impressed with Zou, I think hes skilled but you can tell already his mind is already in the wrong place and those arrogant showoff tactics will get him KOed. I feel bad for Zou though because of the asian Manny hype machine he thinks he has the best trainer in the world, which he will soon learn the hard way he does not.
