Tarver? You gotta be ****in' kidding. Maussa is much better than Baldomir, too. Gatti's not the best, but he still deserves some respect.

Tarver is bad because he is not interested in LHW division anymore. He is looking for money fights only so his "title" is just a wasting of time - not prove anything beside he was better than "retired" Jones and as good as some other journeyman.

If you forget Baldomir's few first fights his record is pretty good, he beat a few decent contenders and a man who was considered the one who can beat Mayweather.

You cannot judge Baldomir as a champion from just one championship fight (which he bdw won). Lets wait with those definitive statements a little more until Baldomir will be a true history.

Vernon was a great champ...who beat Mosley twice and didnt lose (the rematch) to Thug Mayorga in everybodys eyes.

To my knowledge i dont think Baldomir has lost a fight since 99 .

The guy came in and gave a good effort . No need to bash him and say he isnt a good champion . THe guy left his wife for 5 months to prepare for the fight . How many of your favorite fighters have that dedication ??

LEt Baldazar's ( LOL ) title defenses tell the story if he is a great champion or not .

I've been trying all week to think of a champion in any division that held ANY belt that is worse than Baldomir, and so far, I've got nothing. Anybody know ONE champ worse than Baldomir?

Baldomir although his opposition is less than stellar, has not been KO'd since 94.

Ruiz is worse, because of the pain inflicted upon the viewer watching the fight.
