It was another close call victory for Rocky. Rocky did enough to win imo he was little more patient and landed the more meaningful shots. He is just soo sloppy though sometimes.

I saw the fight and scored 115-112 for the boxer of Vegas. I do agree with the comment above: Martinez appearing at # 13 in boxrec just confirms that he is considered a mediocre champiion. He hasn't defeated any important boxer and in his last 3 fights he has been benefited with two controversial split decisions (in 2 very close fights) and got a tie which was clearly a defeat vs. Burgos. Mtz is alredady 30 years old and I don't believe he can get any better of what he has already shown but I guess his mediocre career should be satisfying a lot to his followers and/or country people.

¿Bum? ¿Really?A guy that goes heads up against Burgos(who I think got robbed on a CLOSE fight) & just beat undefeated & favorite to win Magdaleno, with those kind of comments u guys are making Magdaleno & Burgos look really bad!.. & u cry babies sound like boxing ain't nothing without a Puerto Rican champ, & that's NOT the case cause he won this fight fare & square..The announcers & most people had Martinez winning the fight..& what a coincidence, that Robert Hoyle who happens to be from Las Vegas(Magdaleno's home town) was the ONLY judge that had Magdaleno winning & winning by a exaggerated margin!!

The fight with Burgos wasn't close at all. Burgos clearly dominated Martínez and deserved the victory.

I think Martinez won clearly he took the fight to magdelano..magdelano had his moments and fought hard but I think Martinez had the effective aggression he never let magdelano get the upper hand close but no robbery here

for real I used to spar with rocky and Daniel sostre when I live in PR back in the 90s he's the only one who made it big props to him....
