Won't happen

1st of all, Floyd will not fight Khan. Floyd does not care about belts and mandatories. He fights who he wants, when he wants and where he wants. Which leads me to say, a fight in the UK would make a lot of money and would sell out, but Floyd only fights in Las Vegas, so again, it will not happen. I would like to see Khan fight Alexander and a couple other 147 pounders before fighting Floyd or fighting the top 140 pounders. Maybe he should even fight the Mayweather clone (Broner) first, before trying to fight Money.

I hope khan gets knocked out his next fight so we can stopped being forced fed this dude! How can he get knocked out smooth, lose to Peterson and not face Lucas Mattysse in his own weight class and have a show at a 147 title?? With all that has happened to him?

Nobody is forcing you to watch anyone. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Also, as far as I remember didn't he finish on his feet against Garcia? Ready to fight on? Not exactly, "knocked out smooth" is it? Razor sharp decision against Peterson, with the first points in the history of championship boxing to be deducted by a mediocre amount of pushing.

The icing on the cake is your dig at his opponents. Shows just how much you know about boxing.

Nevertheless, why does he even have a ranking @147? Doesn't make any sense.

The WBC has been giving favorable rankings to GBP fighters for some time now. The most recent that come to mind are: 1) Mares vs Morel for the belt that was stripped from Nishi. Mares never fought at 122 and Morel is a career 115-118 guy. 2) Morales vs Cano for Bradley's belt that was stripped for being a unified titleholder. Morales just lost to Maidana and Cano held a low ranking. That was the 2nd time the WBC stripped Bradley for being a unified titleholder and IRONICALLY Danny Garcia has both the WBA/WBC belts and has yet to be stripped. 3) Canelo vs M. Hatton for the vacant WBC Jr Middle when Hatton was a career Jr Welter/ Welter that wasn't even ranked.

I dont see this as posturing for Floyd. After Guerrero gets the brakes beat off him I see Floyd moving up to to Jr Middle again to fight Canelo. Then the WBC will annonce Khan vs (insert middle of the road guy) for the vacant WBC title even though Khan has never fought at 147.
