IBF lightweight champion Miguel "Puppet" Vazquez (33-3, 13KOs) has received an offer to defend his title against undefeated Olympic gold medal winner Yuriorkis Gamboa (22-0, 16KOs), who is scheduled to return in an HBO televised fight on June 8th from Las Vegas. Although earlier reports suggested Juan Carlos Burgos would be the opponent, Vazquez indicates that there are ongoing discussions for a fight with Gamboa.

Easy night they just need to get him busier that rust was ugly in the last one to get the big names have to do the work also equals more tests but i dont think never testing positive matters in boxing. Doesn't matter the paper was discredited and they didnt want to turn over the " evidence papers" to the Mlb for the investigation and just hid it which in itself tells you something but i agree guilty until proven innocent . Got to put in more work tho fight minimum three a year.

Now this fight is a lot harder than the one with Burgos. Vazquez's style can make anyone look like shit. He might be boring, but he's very effective.
