Rios needs to suck it up...Alvarado was the better man and IMO did enough to edge out Rios. Rios lost me as a fan with all of his baby sh it antics

Someone needs to tell Rios he lost the fight...he was getting outboxed in the 2nd half of the fight.

Yeah, I didn't have it that wide, it was close for first rounds but Alvarado outboxed him and clearly won, especially over the last 6 rounds.
I love the way Rios fights in the ring, he is a true warrior but he is so fuucking immature its embarrassing, like the way he reacted after the fight. Alvarado didn't run he boxed, yes he moved around a lot but he still stood in there at points and threw a lot of punches to easily win those later rounds. I love sluggers and I hate it when guys run, but being smart and moving around a lot is not running if you still throw a descent amount of punches.
And the fact that Brandon/Garcia planned for the exact same fight as the previous is ridiculous, there is no way that Garcia is that bad of a trainer. Alvarado proved in the last fight that he could outbox Rios, he lost because he chose to stand flatfooted and exchange punch for punch, so obviously he is going to come into this fight with the game plan to box more and not get ****** into the style Rios fights, and he was pretty vocal about that leading up to the fight.

He's very limited and the only thing he can do is brawl. He can't adjust, can't change the gameplan to do something different. And Alvarado didn't run, he outboxed him and got a fair decision.

Just admit that Alvarado was the better man that night. Rios needs to learn how to be more effective when cutting off the ring then maybe this wouldn't happen to him.

I don't know why people expected anything more from a classless thug who mocked Freddie Roach for his Parkinson.

So you think he won the fight?

The funniest chit was when Max asked Rios about him getting hurt and he claimed he never was. "My leg would've went back like this Max, you better get you eyes checked!"

I'm definitely not surprised that he said Alvarado was running.
