You can't be giving up 60lbs against a guy who is going to land on you and expect to get away with it, especially if you are featherfisted.
That's why he need give up lbs, look at Adamek after he moved to HW he started to put on weight with every single fight and he looks like sheit. He doesn't have a puncher chance (altough Fury's chin is questionable) but Steve will beat Tyson with his superior speed, ring IQ and experience.

No reason for him to try and bulk up and add a lot of fat that will only hold him back. His advantages in this fight are speed and movement, staying lighter will help that. Fury has a big size and weight advantage and will have regardless, so adding weight really wont help at all.
Cunningham plans to add a few more muscle pounds.

“People look at my record and see things and say things that just aren’t true – If you take the time to look at my fight videos you’ll see that I’ve gotten smarter with every match, especially the decisions that went the other way.”

Cunningham is lean as a world class sprinter. There is just no fat to be found on him and he plans to gradually gain a few more “muscle” pounds all the way up to the weigh-in on Friday, April 19th. His workout demonstrations for the media in attendance indicated that he is in top physical shape, mentally sharp and properly synchronized with Nazeem Richardson’s formulated game plan and adjustments.

Great point. I think Cunningham will box circles around Fury and at points in this fight, Fury will stop fighting and try to play to the crowd by pointing at Cunningham and acting to gain points.

whatever the plan is...at some point Steve is gonna have to back the big man up...it can be only for a half of round every 2 rounds...as long as he backs the bigger man up to show the judges he's the boss and dictating policy in there....the more I think about this fight I see Steve boxing this dude up all night long...a clinic...a schooling!!
