the accuracy is due to nonito throwing more and rigo throwing less., the quality of opponenst should be considered aswell ... rigo is not the more versatyle counter puncher either in which should be the main factor in measuring counter punching ability...

I suppose you can argue that Donaire is a more versatile counter-puncher, but I disagree that it's the most important aspect of counter-punching. I would say accuracy is more important. You're right, Nonito has faced better opposition. That has to be taken into consideration. But the fact remains that all fighters mean to hit what they aim at, whether they throw more or they throw less is irrelevant. If they miss a high percentage of the time, they're inaccurate by definition. If Rigo wasn't so accurate, he would increase his punch output. Then he would be more like Donaire.

Rigo is a big underdog. If Rigo wins this guy will make many times $5000. I think he is wrong but if he can afford to lose $5000 and he believes in Rigo then he is smart to get his bet in early before the odds against Rigo go down. I'll be betting 500 on Canelo just to try to win about 200. I am waiting for more Trout money to show up so Canelo won't be as big a favorite and I can get more money if he wins.

That's why sports ******** in general is so dangerous. There are always too many variables to accurately predict, especially with any consistency. There's no such thing as a "sure thing." But I agree with you, in this particular fight, the outcome is a coin-flip. Personally, I wouldn't put more than a token bet on it. Five thousand? No way in hell.

Rigo's not a big underdog at all. I believe the odds are currently 3-1. Like you said, as fight time approaches, the odds might very well get tighter.

Counter punching is about timing more than anything else. Both fighters have excellent timing but I think speed and power will make the difference in this fight.
